"I actually cannot state how emotional he is knowing his dad got his card," wrote Jase Copland’s mom, Teri, on Facebook. “It honestly means the world to him.”
When Jase mailed the card to his dad in heaven, no one expected an actual response from the postal service. “Dear Jase,” read the reply from Royal Mail. “I will continue to do all I can to ensure delivery to heaven safely,” signed by Sean Milligan, office manager for Royal Mail.
“Mr Postman, can you take this to heaven for my dad’s birthday. Thanks.”, had written the 7-year-old across the envelope he sent to his father.
Teri’s Facebook post has been shared about 300,000 times and much praise has gone to Royal Mail this Christmas.
